This falls is situated in Uttara Kannada District.39 Kms from Sirsi, one has to cross thick forest to reach this spot. The Shalmala river falls in to a deep valley from a height of 74 meter creating an enchanting water falls. The river valley presents a captivating view. A little further from the falls is an island locally called Ganeshpal because of a small Ganesh statue in the island
